This treatment is a safe non-surgical treatment that uses the PiXel 8-RF. The PiXel 8-RF is a new device that is being used for micro-needling in aesthetic medicine and is used as a skin laser using erbium. Erbium lasers cause less heating and burning of the tissue but still provide significant results. During this treatment, the device gives off heat that goes deep into the skin layers to stimulate collagen. Collagen is what holds skin together to keep it firm. During your 20s, collagen is produced at a decreased amount at about 1% less each year. This treatment works to stimulate the production of more collagen and elastin, giving your skin a tighter and smoother appearance.
