What to Know Before You Glow
During your personalized consultation at our Suffolk office, we’ll review your medical history, current skincare, and desired outcomes. Dr. Quinn and her team will explain how Pure PDGF+ works and determine if it fits into your aesthetic or dermatological plan.
It is recommended to avoid harsh exfoliants and retinoids at least three days before your appointment. Let us know about any recent skin treatments or sensitivities. Since it is a nonsurgical treatment, no fasting or lab work is required.
Smooth Moves, Start to Finish
Pure PDGF+ can be applied in-office as a standalone or adjunct treatment. Often, it’s paired with microneedling, laser skin resurfacing, or light peels to enhance penetration and accelerate healing.
When you arrive, your skin will be gently cleansed and prepped. If paired with another procedure (e.g., RF microneedling), the Pure PDGF+ will be applied immediately after. The serum is then massaged into the skin and left to absorb fully.
No numbing agent is needed for Pure PDGF+ alone, and the full process typically takes 30–45 minutes.
This isn’t the kind of treatment that puts your life on pause. After application, most patients resume their daily activities immediately, though we’ll recommend avoiding intense exercise or sun exposure for the first 24 hours if it follows another procedure.
It is best to use gentle cleansers and moisturizers for the first few days. Avoid active ingredients like acids or retinoids for 48 hours, apply SPF generously (and often!), and follow any Clarity-specific post-care protocols if combined with other services to produce optimal results for your new appearance.
